Let's talk podcasts.
When is comes to podcasts and what I choose to listen to on my walks, in the car, cleaning the house, when I'm multitasking… etc. it's most often a health and wellness podcast.
In my current life, I'm constantly trying to better myself. I'm always trying to learn and listen from others on the latest wellness trend, the next health hack, or something new to try in the world of beauty.
I'm always absorbing information.
Always be learning.
1. "Pursuit of Wellness" by Mari Llewellyn
This podcast captivated my attention from the start - Mari underwent a major transformation. She lost 90lbs and has been on evolving journey with all things health and wellness. She dives deep on nutrition, exercise, longevity, mental health, childhood trauma, relationships, and more.
She's all about working on yourself from the inside out. Her solo episodes are super educational, and listeners can expect insightful interviews, practical tips, and evidence based information to help them on their journey towards a healthier and happier life.
I love Mari's energy and spirit.
Some may know the brand Bloom Nutrition. Mari is a co-founder for the company. Bloom is best known for its high-quality nutritional supplements, particularly its collagen peptides and other wellness products. They focus on providing natural, effective, and science-backed solutions for skin, hair, joint health, and overall well-being.

2. "The Dream Bigger Podcast" by Siffat Haider
The founder of Arrae (aka my favorite supplement brand) Siffat Haider started The Dream Bigger Podcast. Siff talks with movers and shakers who inspire you to live your best life.
I love hearing Siff talk about Arrae and how she built her products and company in her solo episodes. You can also expect to hear from wellness experts, skincare guru, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders.
I talk about my love for Arrae in this blog, definitely give it a read to learn more about this industry-forward brand and their unmatched capsules.

3. "The Art of Being Well" by Dr. Will Cole
If you're looking for a podcast that is centered around holistic health and wellness, this is the one for you. It's hosted by experts in the fields of nutrition, fitness, mental health, and alternative therapies.
Dr. Will Cole is a functional medicine practitioner, author, and speaker known for his expertise in personalized healthcare. He helps people get down to the root causes of chronic health issues and uses a holistic approach to help his patients achieve optional wellness.
In this podcast you can expect a wide range of topics such as healthy eating, mindfulness practices, stress management, exercise routines, natural healing methods, etc.
I personally love the "Hot or Not" episodes because they feature discussions with Dr. Will Cole's team on various health and wellness trends, products, and practices. In these episodes the hosts dive deep and give their personal opinions on these trends and give a "Hot" or "Not" rating on each topic. It's super fun and I love to hear the whole teams collective thoughts.
Dr. Will Cole is also very involved with one of my favorite brands, Kroma Wellness. I'm a huge fan of him and his team.

4. "Fit Body, Happy Joints" by Dr. Shannon Ritchey
A podcast I'm listening to religiously is "Fit Body, Happy Joints". Dr. Shannon Ritchey is the founder of my favorite fitness platform, Evlo. She's a physical therapist and long-time fitness trainer.
In her podcast she focuses on promoting overall wellness through a combination of fitness, mobility, and joint health strategies. Dr. Shannon integrates the current research of today with her experience as a PT and trainer to educate her audience on effectives fitness practices that don't wreck your body.
There are no ads in her podcasts, and no fluff. She gets right down to business. Dr. Shannon's research is always thorough, and she breaks down everything in laymans terms. The often complex medical and technical jargon is explained in simpler terms that are easy for the average listener to understand.
Her episodes are on the shorter side and super digestible and educational.

5. "Transform" by Sami Clarke and Sami Spalter
These two ladies are such inspirational thought-leaders and fitness gurus. Truly I want to be them when I grow up. You may recognize them from their brand FORM. A digital wellness platform that offers workouts, monthly programs, and weekly schedules for all skill levels and body types.
They started this podcast at the beginning of 2024 and it's described as an external journal of growth, where the Sami's lift the veil on their personal health and wellness journeys. Both of their stories are different and so inspiring. They share all the tips and tools to transform into your best self.
They are best friends and business partners. Transform really focuses on personal growth, self-improvement, and transformational journeys. Listeners can expect to feel motivated to have their own self-discovery, accomplish their goals, navigate relationships, and feel empowered from their success stories.
You just feel like their third best friend listening to them talk. Their voices are so calming and their energy is so pure and radiant.

6. The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast by Lauryn and Michael Bosstick
Last but certainly not least is The Skinny Confidential Podcast. This was probably the first show that really got me into podcast listening. The experts that they have on are some of the very best, covering a wide variety of topics related to health, wellness, beauty, relationships, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
Lauryn and Michael interview an array of people... influencers, celebrities, actors, artists, ceos and health experts, to name a few. They provide insights, tips, and entertaining discussions for their listeners.
The Skinny Confidential podcast aims to empower and educate its audience on various aspects of living a balanced and fulfilling life, with a focus on practical advice, real-life experiences, and actionable takeaways. I always find myself going down rabbit holes after their episodes to learn more about the experts that they have on.
One episode might focus on a serious and informative topic like the meat industry, discussing issues related to food sourcing, sustainability, and ethical considerations. Then the next you could be diving into a completely different topic like beauty tips, skincare routines, and fashion trends for the season. This variety is truly so fun, you never know what you're gonna get throughout the week and makes it easy to appeal to a wide audience with different interests and preferences.

What Are Your Favorite Podcasts?
I'd love to hear from you on some of your favorite podcasts to listen to!! Also I prefer Spotify, mainly because I pay for it monthly to listen to music, but curious if you like other platforms better for podcast listening?
One of my bones to pick with Spotify is that I can't save my favorite podcasts. It'd be awesome if I could heart them and then they go in a favorites folder or something @spotify.
Hope you enjoyed this podcast blog and may give one or two a listen!!
